Terms of Service
1. Our minimum order quantity is for one fleece; our minimum price point is 1.75kg meaning any fleece or batch under 1.75kgs will be charged as if 1.75kgs.
2. A batch price discount of 5% is applied to orders of 15kgs (incoming weight) of one batch of fleeces to be processed together to the same finished package. The discount excludes skirting & winding.
3. Any fleece or batch of fleeces showing signs of moth infestation will be returned at the client’s expense. We will not store them or return them with finished products.
4. Suri prices assume fibre is one year’s growth or less than 8” in staple length. A slightly longer lock length may be processable – please ask us.
5. Please note the additional charge levied on cria fleeces & fine fleeces, if required, (or batch in which there is cria) or (fine) fleece that has not been adequately prepared.
6. Skirting & preparation of your fleece for processing is your responsibility (please do ask if you are unsure). Sorry, we do not offer a skirting service. Please see our download page for our skirting PDF. Be assured we do continue to pick any undesirable VM or fibre from your skirted fleeces during every process.
7. Approximate winding costs can be calculated by multiplying your incoming weight by the relevant winding charge. This will be the maximum charge for winding and should be used as a guide only. Winding costs are calculated on spun weight rather than incoming weight. Processing costs shown on our price list include winding to cones.
8. Business customers with a deadline to meet are asked to use our pre-booked Express Service to ensure we can meet your requirements. Express Orders are strictly limited to a total of 10kg per month. We can not guarantee dates for returning your yarn otherwise.
9. Prices shown are our current prices and are subject to change without notice; by sending fibre to be processed you are agreeing to our pricing & payment policy, T’s & C’s etc.
10. We do not ask for a deposit before processing unless your order is more than £1000 inc VAT. However, we require payment within 7 days of the date of your e-invoice. Payment beyond 7 days will incur a late payment fee of 10% of the value of your invoice – this fee is calculated on nett price & is not subject to VAT.
11. Our preferred method of payment is via BACs (bank transfer); we do not accept cheques or cash.
12. Finished goods are only dispatched or available for collection once full payment has been received. Payments received from banks other than those within the UK will be subject to additional fees as charged by our bank.
13. All photos sent remain the property of East Anglia Alpaca Mill however permission is granted for you to use any/all images on the condition that the Mill receives full credit.
14. We reserve the right to update/amend our website without prior notification.
